The Warlock class is a class that deals in demonic spells and rituals. They can summon demons from the void, afflict upon their enemies various curses and diseases, and use various shadow arts to directly attack. They are best known for their very efficient damage over time spells and their amazingly strong demonic pets.

Unlike the Mage, the Warlock doesn't aim to kill the quickest but instead aims to kill the most efficiently. They can drain health and mana from their opponent while it dies from their various curses and diseases. Not only that, but their demonic pets serve as either tanks (taking the damage for them) or support (helping deal the damage). That's not to say a Warlock couldn't just focus outright on Shadow destruction, expending their mana to obliterate their opponents. They also can play a heavy role in support their group with things like health and soul stones.

Warlocks were mages that delved too deeply into the roots of demonic power. Consumed by a lust for dark knowledge, they've tapped into chaotic magic from beyond the world. The Burning Legion now feeds them its powers, allowing them to channel destructive energies and call upon the powerful emissaries of their demon masters. The Warlock is a more involved class to play. Warlocks have pets, many different spell combos, and a reagent component requirement for some of their spells. This means that playing a Warlock takes a bit more learning than some of the more straightforward classes. The Warlock has a lot of very cool and fun abilities including Eye of Killrogg, Fear, Pets, and more. The Warlock is a very fun class to play once you figure things out.
